Ant Harrison
Ant is an IT consultant and procurement specialist responsible for managing £4Bn worth of IT sourcing and strategic partnership deals. Ant also specialises in benchmarking, business case development, portfolio management, operating model development and programme assurance. Prior to SSG Advisory Ant spent 10 years at NCC Group PLC where he led the strategy, sourcing and governance business streams. Prior to NCC Ant worked for the Audit Commission where he led VfM projects and Fujitsu where he was a technical consultant and project manager. Ant has an MSc in computational physics and holds an MBA.
Imran ali
Imran has enjoyed a long career in technology and has held global director-level positions at Microsoft, Gartner (where he led the developments of Gartner’s enterprise architecture reference model) and Cadbury Schweppes. He also developed the enterprise architecture for the National Institute of Health and Care Excellence. In his early career he was Head of IT for the Leisure Services Department at Liverpool City Council. Imran is an expert on IT architecture and cloud strategy.
Phil Riley
Phil is recognised as one of the UK’s leading experts in telecommunications including unified communications and IT infrastructure technologies such as server/storage/desktop virtualisation and systems integration in such areas as CRM and e-payments. Phil’s career has encompassed IT management and software development. Phil has a BSc in mathematics.
Robert Hulse
Rob is an experienced commercial finance professional with more than 20 years' experience supporting SMEs to access the funding they need to start, grow and invest. His background spans commercial lending, credit risk, underwriting, business development and product strategy, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of both the challenges faced by businesses seeking finance and the requirements of lenders.
Rob provides independent funding guidance, working closely with business owners to understand their commercial objectives, funding requirements and growth ambitions. He will help businesses develop robust, lender-ready funding proposals, ensuring they present their opportunities clearly and professionally to maximise the likelihood of securing appropriate finance.
Neil roden
Neil is a highly experienced consultant specialising in programme and project management, interim IT management, process review, strategy development, staffing reviews and applications (ERP, CRM and business intelligence). Neil has an MSc in IT.
Fuaad Buras
Fuaad is a senior ERP and CRM transformation leader with over 25 years’ experience delivering large-scale technology programmes across public services, telecoms, defence, engineering, and manufacturing. He began his career in software development before moving into ERP and CRM consulting with PwC and Deloitte. Fuad has a BSc in computer secience and an MSc is software engineering.
Davina Harrison
Davina Harrison is our director of quality and compliance and is responsible for the administration of our quality management system, resource allocation and financial management. She has 25 years of retail management experience with Alliance Boots where she was a sales manager, a general store manager and an HR manager.
Amit Rana
Amit is an experienced and established technology consultant with almost 20 years’ experience of business, IT and technical projects with significant experience in the HE sector. His career started with Accenture as a business analyst before moving to CSC, Capital One, Jaguar Land Rover, and HMRC. Amit is an HE specialist and has worked with the universities of Nottingham, City St Georges, and Imperial University London. Amit has a Bsc in computing for business.
Alastair McGowan
An experienced consultant who has been responsible for strategic digital and technology consultancy to clients in the public and private sectors for over 20 years. Responsibilities include strategic planning, product development, business development, resource management and client/delivery management on major strategic engagements. Alasiair has strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills with experience of working at all levels across an organisation including the C-level suite. Alastair holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics.
nick farrington
Nick is a highly experienced financial consultant and is a Chartered Accountant. Nick has worked on some of the UK's largest public-private partnerships, developing financial business cases and providing strategic commercial advice. Nick has an LLM from the University of Oxford.
Neil Catton
As our chief technologist and architect, Neil has over 30 years of experience in designing, leading and delivering transformational strategies in both the public and private sectors solving complex challenges whilst delivering sustainable growth and value. Working within global organisations, including Wipro, BT, Sopra Steria, he has successfully delivered projects across justice, policing, financial services, retail, utilities central local government and health. Neil is a highly accomplished and respected enterprise architect and technology leader, with real-world experience of modern technologies and how they can be utilised across all areas of secure operations.

Andrew has extensive experience at a senior level delivering IT contracts in both the public and private sectors. He has established strong relationships with key clients at levels ranging from CEO down to department manager.
